HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Against all conventional laws of logic, the harsh sunlight that occurred across Hoenn’s newly discovered ley line had reached the depths of Area Zero, piercing through thick fog and even the ceiling of the cave.

Exploring the Terastal cavern under these conditions was a challenge, since some of the Paradox Pokémon that lurked about were strengthened by the ancient heat, but with Ogerpon by her side, Andrea felt safe.

The flamboyant cosplayer’s Sygna Suit had gotten all sticky from sweat, but that did not deter her from her mission: Collect Tera Shards, and maybe catch a few new friends in the process.

Something sparkly caught the green ogre’s eye, who eagerly dragged her caretaker by the arm, while pointing at the source of the scintillation.

“Pon! Pon!”

It was a Fire Tera Shard. “Ooooh, nice find!” Andrea picked it up. Could the unnatural weather conditions have affected the crystals somehow, or was this just a coincidence?

Nearby, a group of Magmortar were basking in the primordial sunlight, simply vibing.

Suddenly, a wild Quilava jumped the duo. The mysterious power radiating from the crystals gave the fiery badger the temporary ability to Terastallize, a crimson candelabra materializing on top of its head.

Viewing the crystal-obsessed Oni as a threat, the Fire starter fired a plume of lava that singed Ogerpon’s kimono-like garments. In response, the ogress threw a Stomping Tantrum, causing the earth to shake violently under her wooden feet.

“PON!”

Quilava’s Tera Crown shattered into a million pieces, providing Andrea with an opening to attempt a capture while the critter was still woozy. “Pokéball, go!”
